Children and young people are part of our church and have much to
give as well as receive. As we nurture them in worship, learning and
in community life, we will listen to them and respect their wishes
and feelings.
Sunday Morning Groups
Crèche; 3 - 5 years; 6 - 8 years; 8 - 11 years; 11 + years. Learn
about God, explore the Bible, develop faith in Jesus Christ in age
appropriate stories, games, crafts, discussions, and other exciting
activities. We use Scripture Union material with the 3 - 11 year
olds and mainly Youth for Christ's Rock Solid material with the over
11's. On the 3rd Sunday of the month there is usually an all age
service when the children stay in for the whole service instead of going
into groups. Our Children's and Youth Work Co-ordinator is Mr.
Nick Wells.

socializing, discussion and food!

the teens to go to Christian concerts.

- Pickles
An opportunity during school term time for Parents and Carers to
meet and enjoy a cup of tea while their children play (ages 0 -
3 ½).
This is held in the Youth Hall behind the main church building.
Safe From
Harm
To follow the Home Office ‘Safe from Harm’ Code of Practice for
working with children and young people, we have adopted the
guidelines, procedures and Code of Practice ‘Safe to Grow’ published
by the Baptist Union of Great Britain. As part of our commitment to
children and young people, the church has appointed Mrs. Sue
Ashworth to be their Advocate.
