The Reason why Jesus came from heaven was to show God’s love to us.
“For God so loved the world
that he gave his one and only Son…” John 3 v 16
But why does God want to show us love? Well, he doesn’t want us to die, instead he wants to give us a new life that lasts for ever.
“…that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3 v 16 cont.
Okay, so we all know our bodies die but it is spiritual life God wants to give us.
So how do we get this life? Look back to that Bible verse again
“…believe…”
That is all. What? Not do loads of ultra religious stuff? No, all you need to do is believe that Jesus came from heaven, lived, died and came alive again all because he loves you and wants to give you life that lasts.
