Online resources

During the coronavirus outbreak, particularly during lockdowns, we posted video services on YouTube. Some of these services are also still available on the Datchet Baptist YouTube channel.

Pilgrimage

Traditionally, a pilgrimage is a devotional practice consisting of a contemplative journey toward a specific destination of significance.

Tearfund’s Pilgrimage resource has been created for Easter 2021 by Tearfund Scotland in partnership with Fiona Stewart from Foolproof Creative Arts, and contains eight individually themed sessions, each designed to help guide you through a reflective exploration of Christ’s story during Holy Week. Pilgrimage also features many voices and images from Tearfund’s work around the world. Each session is around ten to twelve minutes long and includes a part of the Easter story to consider, some guided prayer prompts, time for reflection, and a glimpse into Tearfund’s work through the worldwide church.
